i just went to Azerbaijan and Georgia the past few weeks and the pomegranate juice was amazing @>~<@!!! So that’s why is decided to draw a pomegranate oil painting just for a memory.
this thing took me about 2 and and a half hours, because making it dry took me 2 days too finish. I used some pomegranate templates from Google and my digital art pomegranate on my iPad. It was easy. I drew the whole pomegranate drawing using the painting knives (including the seeds). because it was easier to tidy up the mess plus I could test my oil painting skills. But why is the background black? This was supposed to be a completely different art ( about skiing ) but eventually I just failed and just decided to cover it with black 🙁 well I think none of my friends notice tho :)) I started by using yellow, red and a bit of blue to start of with the shape ( 2 circles ) and let it dry. I then drew the white part in the pomegranate (idk how to call it but ye u know) by using a tons of white and tini bit of yellow and red. And of course— let it dry… then draw the seeds, just by pasting the red paint. let it dry. lastly cover the messy parts with black paint. Done 😀
